The course aims to introduce the issue of management of human potential, which is understood as one of the sources of enterprise development. Qualified and motivated personnel is a prerequisite for a high standard of performance and competitiveness of the company. The interpretation deals with ensuring this requirement in the company management system in relation to the search, selection, recruitment and adaptation of employees, their training and qualification development, performance evaluation, preparation of the company's social programme. It also describes the development of views on the concept of personnel management from administrative through social to the managerial model of personnel management. The interpretation also touches on labour relations and the creation of organisational culture concerning human resource management.
